End Yo-Yo Dieting with Mindful Eating
Mindful Eating For Workplace Wellness
!! Because diets don’t work !!
End your Eat--Repent--Repeat cycle
And learn to eat what you love and love what you eat.
End your Eat--Repent--Repeat cycle
And learn to eat what you love and love what you eat.
In this mindful eating workshop, I, Michelle Sher, Psychotherapist and Certified “Am I Hungry®” Practitioner, will open participants up to a healthier connection with food and their bodies. Using an "All foods fit" approach, I will show you how to be in charge of your eating instead of feeling out of control, and how to eat the foods you love without overeating or guilt.

When people feel better they live better and they work better. Feeling positive is physical and emotional and both are interconnected.
This program will leave your employees feeling better about so many aspects of their lives and when people feel better they are happier and they work better, both individually and as a team. Your business will likely experience fewer sick days, lower medication claims and increased productivity. And that goes right to the bottom line.
I will step you and your staff through a program that dispels old myths and opens our minds to become more engaged in a process of deliberate action rather than falling into accepted routines and philosophies. By exploring the relationship between the many decisions that we make each day, participants learn strategies for becoming more mindful.
Mindfulness in our eating, exercising, drinking, and working can affect every area of our life including relationships, self-care and work. Three decades of research support the effectiveness of mindfulness training to improve many facets of physical and emotional well being, including depression, anxiety, coping style, medical symptoms, pain, physical impairment, sleep, perceived stress, relaxation and life satisfaction. Mindfulness training is considered a viable intervention for the workplace.
More recent research using neuroimaging has demonstrated that consistent mindfulness practice changes the structure of the brain and positively affects self-regulation, decision making, emotional resilience, and other attributes that support optimal well being.
Similar programs are being incorporated by many employers including Google, Apple, and General Mills, just to name a few. I feel strongly that you will appreciate being introduced to this program which I know will prove to be beneficial to you, your staff and your business.
